How to load your bar
The target includes the bar and both sides. This calculator uses standard plate sizes and rounds to the nearest load those plates can make. It assumes enough of each plate is available. Collars are not included.
For example, 100 kg on a 20 kg bar needs 40 kg per side: one 25 kg plate and one 15 kg plate. Load the same plates on both sides.
Why is the loaded weight different?
Some targets cannot be made exactly. The result shows the actual load, which may be above or below your request. Check that load before lifting.
