About Us
An athlete’s training record should follow the athlete.
Too often, years of work, personal records, and hard-won progress disappear when a program ends or a coaching relationship changes. AthleticPeak Pro exists so that history stays with the individual — structured, continuous, and usable across every chapter of an athletic career.
Programs change. Coaches change. Seasons change. The work already done should not disappear.
Why we built it
We built AthleticPeak Pro because the work an athlete has done should still be theirs when the season, the program or the coach changes.
This is not another wellness tracker. It is a performance system designed around the way serious athletes actually train: structured programs, measurable progression, workload management, and clear coaching relationships.
Experience that shapes the product
The principles behind AthleticPeak Pro come from long experience in both sport and teaching.
David Brannan competed as a pole vaulter at the high-school and collegiate level — an All-American, a BYU record holder, and a vaulter who cleared the Olympic A qualifying standard in 1992. That experience taught the value of precise training, honest feedback, and consistent work over time.
He then spent nearly three decades as a public-school teacher and track-and-field coach. Along the way, he helped many athletes move on to college programs and wrote three books on pole vault technique, training, and mental blocks. Teaching complex ideas to many different people refined a practical standard that runs through everything we build: simplify without oversimplifying. Keep what matters. Remove what gets in the way.

Our approach
We do not believe software should replace a coach.
A coach teaches. An athlete trains. Good software quietly handles the calculations, tracking, progression, and organization so both can focus on improvement instead of administration.
That is the standard we build toward.
